I’m a radical libertarian feminist.
Radical — (especially of change or action) relating to or affecting the fundamental nature of something, far-reaching or thorough.
Libertarian –a person who believes in the doctrine of free will.
Feminist — advocating social, political, legal, and economic rights for women the same as those of men.
I am here to educate, challenge, provoke, remonstrate, exert, defend, fascinate, expostulate, tug at hearts, open minds, MAKE YOU UNCOMFORTABLE . . . and still make you smile.
And most of all . . . to rage. Welcome, officially, a little bit belated, to “45ragestreet.”
The title was taken shamelessly from Anne Sextons’s famous poem 45 Mercy Street. Read it and see if you can interpret–is she really talking about mercy? I will talk about mercy–mercy towards human beings–but I will also talk about injustice. Is there a correlation? That is my first question I challenge you with.
